When will my order ship?
This is a pre-order for our very first collection, La Dolce Vita. Your tag is being made now, and every order will ship by August 31, 2026. We will email you the moment yours is on its way.
Am I charged now or when it ships?
You are charged at purchase, today, when you place your pre-order. This reserves your tag from a limited first run, so your spot (and your design) is locked in.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free. Always. No surprise shipping fees at checkout, ever. (Sales tax may apply depending on where you ship.)
Where do you ship?
We ship across the United States for this launch. International travelers, we see you, and we are working on it.
What is La Dolce Vita Full Collection?
The Full Collection is all three designs in one set: Salty Citrus, Stracciatella, and Fancy in Farfalle. It is $135 (compare at $150), so it is the best value and the easiest way to have a tag for every bag, and comes with limited edition packaging. Only 50 Full Collection sets in this first run.
Can I cancel my pre-order?
Yes. You can cancel any time before your order ships and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. Just email hello@tagliatravel.com with your order number and we will take care of it.
What is your return policy?
If your tag is not quite right, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We just ask that it is unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Email hello@tagliatravel.com to start a return.
Why are quantities limited?
This is our first production run, and it is a small one on purpose. We make our collections in limited drops, so each design is made in a fixed quantity for the run. Once this run sells out, that design is closed. We may bring designs back in a future collection, but we cannot promise the same run, price, or packaging, so if a design speaks to you, we would grab it while it is here.
Your Tag & the NFC Chip
What is the NFC chip, and how do I use it?
Every Taglia has a tiny NFC chip tucked inside (the same tap-to-pay tech in your phone and credit card). After your tag arrives, you claim it to your Taglia account in about a minute, choose what contact info you want to share, and you are done. No paper insert to fill out by hand, ever again.
How does someone reach me if they find my bag?
They simply tap your tag with their phone. Up pops the contact info you chose to share, nothing more, and you get notified that your tag was tapped. No phone calls to strangers, no scribbled luggage card flapping around.
Do I have to show my personal information publicly?
No, and that is the whole point. You decide exactly what a finder sees. Want to share an email but not your phone? Done. The days of your home address handwritten on a card for the whole airport to read are over.
Can I keep my info completely hidden? (Private Mode)
Yes. Turn on Private Mode and a finder who taps your tag sees a simple "this bag is registered" screen with no contact details at all, while you still get notified the moment it is tapped. If your bag is ever truly lost, flip sharing back on from your dashboard so the next tap shows your details. Private by default, found when you need it.
Can I see where my bag has traveled?
You can. Every tap drops a pin on your own passport-style Travel Map in your dashboard, so you can watch the places your bag has been add up over time. A travel diary that keeps itself.
Do I need to download an app?
Nope. Any modern smartphone can tap your tag and reach you, no app and no setup required for the person who finds it. You manage your own info from any browser at tag.tagliatravel.com.
Can I move my tag to a new bag?
Of course. Your Taglia clips on and off, so move it to your weekender, your carry-on, or next season's suitcase whenever you like. It stays linked to your account no matter which bag it is riding on.
How do I update my contact info?
Anytime, from your dashboard. Sign in at tag.tagliatravel.com, update your details, and your tag reflects the change instantly. New phone, new email, new address, all handled in seconds.
Is my data private?
Yes. You control what is shared, finders only ever see what you choose, and we never put your information out in the open. You can read exactly how we handle your data in our privacy policy at tag.tagliatravel.com/privacy.
What happens if my bag gets lost, or someone grabs it by mistake?
Here is where your tag earns its keep. Your distinctive Taglia makes your bag easy to spot at baggage claim, so fewer mixups happen in the first place. And if your bag does go missing, or goes home with the wrong traveler, a quick tap on your tag shows the contact info you chose to share and lets them reach you to return it. You also get a notification the moment it is tapped, so you know your bag has been found.
